FAQs

New to sports physical therapy? Get answers to the most frequently asked questions.

Sports physical therapy helps athletes improve their strength, conditioning, and mobility to rehab and further prevent injuries. The goal of performance physical therapy is to restore your strength and mobility and to optimize performance, so athletes can play at their best no matter what sport they play.

If your goal is to do something more athletic, you’ll need more than a 5 LB dumbell. If you have bigger athletic goals, we can help you reach that. Get back to competing.

We create highly individualized plans for athletes based on prior injury history, your sport or activity, and your goals. Performance physical therapy typically involved strength training and conditioning combined with manual therapy, which could include techniques dry needling or cupping.

When you start with sports physical therapy at our Las Vegas clinic, you’ll get an initial 75-minute evaluation to determine the best plan of action to best reach your goals. After that, each follow-up session with you will last one hour.
