Dr. Erica Wong
PT, DPT
Physical Therapist & Co-Founder of Pillar Kinetic in Las Vegas, NV
If you're searching for a physical therapist in Las Vegas who actually listens, digs into the root cause of your pain, and builds a plan around your goals, not a generic protocol, you're in the right place.
On the sidelines of Division I athletics, in the weight room as a personal trainer, and on the field as a coach. By the time she became a Doctor of Physical Therapy, she'd already spent over a decade learning how the human body actually performs under pressure, not just how it heals. That real-world foundation is exactly why she co-founded Pillar Kinetic, a performance physical therapy clinic specializing in sports rehabilitation, pelvic floor physical therapy for men and women, prenatal and postpartum care, and perimenopause and menopause support.

Dr. Erica earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Biology (with a minor in Chicano/a Studies) from UC Davis — go Ags! — before completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Brenau University. On paper, that's a strong foundation. But it's what came before and alongside the degrees that sets her apart.
-
Since 2007, Dr. Erica has worked across nearly every corner of the rehab and sports performance world:
Student athletic trainer in NCAA Division I Athletics — working with elite athletes under real competitive pressure
First responder — trained to handle real emergencies, not textbook scenarios
Rehabilitation technician — putting in the reps that build true hands-on skill
Personal trainer and coach — understanding how to take someone from "rehabbed" to actually strong
Most physical therapists check one or two of these boxes. Dr. Erica has lived all of them. That means when you sit down with her, you're not getting someone who only knows recovery: you're getting someone who knows performance, training, and the real world your body has to operate in. She combines this hands-on expertise with a genuine passion for helping people move, train, and live without pain — so they can get back to doing what they love, without compromise.

Sports Rehabilitation & Performance
Whether you're a competitive athlete or a weekend warrior, pain and old injuries shouldn't be the price of staying active. Dr. Erica works with athletes and active adults throughout Las Vegas to recover from injury, improve mobility, and return stronger to the sports and training they love: from running and weightlifting to recreational and competitive sports. Every plan is built on a foundation of movement assessment, hands-on manual therapy, and individualized strength and conditioning programming, backed by extensive continuing education in clinical running analysis, functional movement screening, and evidence-based return-to-sport protocols.
Pelvic Health for Men and Women
Pelvic floor issues are common, but they are not something you have to "just live with." Dr. Erica provides specialized pelvic floor physical therapy for both women and men, addressing concerns like pelvic pain, incontinence, urinary urgency, core weakness, and post-prostatectomy recovery for men, as well as pelvic floor dysfunction, painful intercourse, and core/pelvic floor coordination for women. This judgment-free, individualized approach helps patients regain confidence, control, and comfort in everyday life.
Prenatal & Postpartum Care
Pregnancy and postpartum recovery deserve expert support, not guesswork. Dr. Erica guides women through every stage of the journey with care for diastasis recti, core and pelvic floor dysfunction, safe prenatal movement, and a confident, structured return to exercise after birth. This reflects Pillar Kinetic's broader commitment to whole-body, whole-life care — treating people, not just symptoms.
Perimenopause & Menopause Support
Hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause can bring new aches, pelvic floor changes, bone density concerns, and shifts in strength and body composition — and too often, women are told these symptoms are just something to "push through." Dr. Erica works with women navigating this stage of life to address pelvic floor symptoms (like urinary urgency and incontinence), joint and muscle pain, and changes in strength and mobility, while building sustainable strength and movement programs that support long-term bone health, hormone-related symptom management, and overall vitality.
What This Means for You
If you're in pain, recovering from an injury, or just feel like your body isn't keeping up with what you want to do, Dr. Erica isn't going to hand you a generic packet of exercises and send you on your way. She's going to look at how you move, train, and live, and build a plan that gets you back to doing the things you actually care about — faster, and for good.

When she's not treating patients at Pillar Kinetic, Dr. Erica is living the same active life she helps her patients get back to. She loves cooking, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Erica likes getting outdoors every chance she gets, whether that's playing volleyball, paddle boarding, hiking, canyoneering, or climbing around Las Vegas and beyond.
