Performance Physical Therapy in Las Vegas
One-on-one care for athletes and active people — from acute injuries and post-surgical rehab to performance, prehab, and return to sport.
Whether you're sidelined or just starting to feel something off — this is the place to start.
You don't have to be a professional athlete to deserve serious care. Whether you ran your first half marathon and now your knee won't cooperate, you're eight weeks post-op on a shoulder repair, or you've got a nagging hip issue that flares up every time you lift — you're in the right place.
At Pillar Kinetic, we treat the injury in front of us, not the diagnosis on your referral. Every plan is built from a thorough evaluation of what's actually driving your symptoms — and every session is one-on-one with your therapist, from the first visit to the last.

What happens at your first visit?
01
STEP ONE
Your evaluation
We start by listening. Your injury history, how it happened, what you've tried, and — most importantly — what you're trying to get back to. Then we do a thorough hands-on assessment: movement screening, strength testing, joint mobility, and functional loading specific to your sport or activity. We want to know not just what hurts, but why.
02
STEP TWO
Your treatment plan
No generic protocols. Your plan is built from what we find and what your goals are — and it will look different from the person in the next room. Manual therapy, dry needling, progressive strength and mobility work, and sport-specific movement training are all tools we use, in whatever combination makes sense for you. Every session is one-on-one with your therapist, start to finish.
03
STEP THREE
Back to your sport
We don't consider a case closed when your pain goes away. We consider it closed when you're back doing what you came in for — confidently, at full capacity, and with a plan to stay there.
WHY ATHLETES CHOOSE US
One-on-one, every session You'll never be triaged to an aide or left to do exercises alone while your therapist works with someone else. Your therapist is with you for the entire visit, every time. That's not the norm at most PT clinics — it is here.
Cash-based means your care isn't dictated by insurance We don't take insurance, and that's intentional. Insurance companies decide how many visits you get and what treatments are approved. We don't let them make clinical decisions. Your plan is based on what you actually need — longer sessions, more hands-on time, and advanced techniques that most insurance-based clinics can't justify billing for.
Dry needling, in-house When dry needling is the right tool — for trigger points, tissue recovery, or pain modulation — it happens in the same session, with the same therapist who knows your case. No separate appointment, no referral out.
Prehab, not just rehab We see patients before injuries become serious — and before surgeries, to improve outcomes on the other side. If something is nagging, getting evaluated now costs far less time and money than waiting until it becomes a full rupture or a required surgery.
Meet The Team
Pillar Kinetic was founded in 2019 by Drs. Joe and Erica on a simple premise: athletes heal better when their therapist has the time and freedom to actually treat them. We've grown into a team of three Doctors of Physical Therapy — Drs. Minija, Joe, and Erica — each committed to one-on-one, root-cause care built around your goals, not a billing code.

PT DPTFrequently Asked Questions
Do you have questions about sports medicine at Pillar Kinetic? Read the answers to the frequently asked questions listed below.
-
We treat sprains, strains, tendonitis, ACL and meniscus injuries, rotator cuff pain, back pain, knee pain, ankle pain, overuse injuries, and most other common sports injuries.
-
No referral is needed, you can book directly with us by giving us a call or filling out a form on our contact us page.
-
Staying out of network is the best thing for our clients. Not taking insurance directly allows us to treat athletes with longer sessions, personalized rehab/recovery programs, and advanced techniques without the normal insurance restrictions that normally involve lower level exercises. We are able to make decisions based on what YOU need and your goals, not what the insurance company decides you should have for treatment.
