Groin strain and hip labral rehab for athletes in Las Vegas

Groin pain that returns every time you cut.

It is usually a capacity problem in the adductors, a control problem at the pelvis, or both. Measurable adductor strength first, because it is both the risk factor and the test we track. Then glute and trunk control, then the actual demands of your sport: cutting, sprinting, sprawling, shooting.

What we see in field and combat sports

  • Adductor-related groin pain, tender along the inner thigh, worse squeezing
  • Hip flexor or iliopsoas pain at the front, worse with knee drive
  • Labral irritation, a deep pinch or catch with rotation
  • Pubic-related pain that spans both sides and the lower abdomen

A labral finding is not automatically the problem

Labral changes show up on scans of plenty of athletes with no pain, so finding one does not settle the question or point straight to surgery. What matters is whether your symptoms match the clinical tests and whether strength and movement change improves them. For most people it does.

How we build it back

Return is decided by hitting numbers, not by the pain going quiet.

Frequently asked questions

  • How long before I can return to sport?

Mild adductor strains are often four to six weeks; longstanding groin pain can be three months or more. We test adductor strength against your other side and against your pre-season numbers where we have them, and return when those clear.

  • Why does it keep coming back?

Usually because return happened when the pain stopped rather than when strength came back. Adductor strength is often still well down at the point symptoms disappear, and that gap is what the next sprint finds.
