Spring Valley is not a city. It is an unincorporated town in Clark County, formed in 1981 and governed by the County Commission, with an appointed Town Advisory Board that reviews zoning and development and brings residents' concerns to the Commission.
Its usual boundaries are Sahara Avenue to the north, Decatur Boulevard to the east, Warm Springs Road to the south and Hualapai Way to the west. The north edge, along Sahara Avenue, is about 4.3 miles due south of our clinic in a straight line.
Pardee Homes, which bought former Stardust International Raceway land in 1970, named the community it built there for its views of the Spring Mountains.
