Manual therapy in Las Vegas

How we use it
- To open up range so you can train a position you could not reach
- To settle an acutely painful area enough to start loading it
- To test a theory about what is driving your symptoms
- Alongside exercise in the same session, never on its own

What manual therapy does
Joint mobilisation and soft tissue work reduce how sensitive an area is and temporarily improve how it moves. That window is useful, because it lets you load and move in ways that were not available ten minutes earlier. What makes the change stick is what you do inside that window.
What a session looks like
Hands-on work takes a portion of the hour, not all of it. The rest is spent using what it opened up. You will leave with a small number of things to repeat at home, because the exercise is what carries the result between visits.
Frequently asked questions
Is manual therapy the same as a massage?
No. Massage therapy is a separate licence and a different scope. What we do is targeted joint and soft tissue work chosen for a specific clinical finding, delivered by a physical therapist as part of a treatment plan.
Why did the relief not last last time?
Because nothing changed about the capacity of the tissue or the demands you put on it. The sensitivity came down, then the same load brought it back. Pairing the hands-on work with loading is what changes that pattern.
