Dr. Minija Edgar

Minija received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Vermont and completed a Women’s Health Physical Therapy Residency through BodyCentral Physical Therapy.
Minija specializes in pelvic health physical therapy for men and women, helping patients address pelvic pain, urinary and bowel dysfunction, pregnancy and postpartum recovery, diastasis recti, and hip and low back pain. She is a Pelvic and Women’s Health Certified Clinical Specialist (PWCS) with advanced training in pelvic floor rehabilitation, oncologic rehabilitation, pregnancy and postpartum athleticism, and dry needling for the lumbo-pelvic-hip complex.
In addition to patient care, Minija is passionate about educating clinicians, and presents nationally on pelvic health topics. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy, and the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health.
When not treating patients, Minija enjoys staying active, teaching yoga, and spending time outdoors.
